Proven Tiny House Builders

"Last year Max, Nick and Myles built me a gorgeous tiny house of local timber they had cut and milled themselves, with cedar shingles, wool and cotton insulation and a standing-seam steel roof. It’s beautifully built — people ask me about it every day — and thankfully I was able to rent it to my choice of tenants at my asking price. Many people, myself included, want quality over quantity."

Our Mission

We are a cooperative of builders that seeks to improve quality of life through thoughtful design. We believe the built environments which make up our daily lives should reflect and nurture the actual human needs of those spaces. We believe that this way of building can not only improve people’s lives but also serve to restore the natural environment by reducing the rampant waste of conventional construction.

Tiny house living is a prime example of this spirit of building: By drastically reducing your square footage you are left with a space provides all the essentials for living lightly yet comfortably on the land.

Why Go Tiny?

“Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”
— William Morris

“You know you have reached perfection of design not when you have nothing more to add, but when you have nothing more to take away.”
— Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

“As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler; solitude will not be solitude, poverty will not be poverty, nor weakness weakness.”
 — Henry David Thoreau

Each one of us has, somewhere in their heart, the dream to make a living world, a universe.
— Christopher Alexander, The Timeless Way Of Building
